Salmon Bake 2005 was provided by Kiwanis Club of Federal Way in July 29, 2005. More than 1200 people attended this event include Representative, Skip Priest, Federal Way Mayor Dean McColgan, Federal Way Council Member, Federal Way City Council , Jeanne Burbidge Federal Way City Council Linda Kochmar and many business & Community Leaders.
Kiwanis is a world-wide service organization for people desiring personal improvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities through service.
As a group, they can achieve what individuals cannot do alone. Kiwanis was founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan. Kiwanis Club was founded in 1955 and currently has 100 members. Kiwanis has 8000 clubs worldwide. Kiwanis had over 300,000 members. They raise and donate money to youth and social service agencies in our community. Kiwanis Club also perform acts of service within our community. It is positive to see the communities, the city and state of washington support together.
