PNWS AWWA: American Waterworks Association Pacific Northwest Section Tacoma, Wasington, Water Tapping Team has won the first for the Water Tapping contest with the timing: 1:10:92, the 2nd Under Pressure - 1:21:70, the 3rd, Boise United Water Tap Happy - 1:32:72 and the 4th, Extreme Water Tappers from - 1:32:83. Tacoma, Wasington, Water Tapping Team beat reigning 2008 U.S. champions, 2009 had National Champion and Now, won the first again during the regional competition from PNWS_AWWA Water Tapping Team Contests which each team gets two attempts to complete the event within 30 minutes and the shortest time gets recorded and got the shortest 1:10:92 by Tacoma Water Tapping Team. PNWS is one of 43 sections in North America that comprise AWWA, a highly respected, research driven water authority since 1881. PNWS is governed by its 3,000 members and its programs are carried out by hundreds of member volunteers, assisted by staff located in Clackamas, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association was founded in 1927 and provides leadership to drinking water professionals in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in the areas of Water quality and distribution, Water resource policy, Conservation, and provides Engineering support.
