PRESIDENT TRUMP:  I just want to say that President Xi and all of his representatives have been really interesting to be with.  I think we have made tremendous progress in our relationship with China.  My representatives have been meeting one-on-one with their counterparts from China.  And I think, truly, progress has been made.  We'll be making a lot of additional progress.

The relationship developed by President Xi and myself I think is outstanding.  We look forward to being together many times in the future.  And I believe lots of very potentially bad problems will be going away.

So I just want to thank President Xi for being with us in the United States.  It's a tremendous honor for me and all of my representatives to host the President and his representatives.  And again, progress has been made.

Thank you very much.  Thank you.

(President Xi speaks in Chinese.)

PRESIDENT TRUMP:  Well, I agree 100 percent, Mr. President.  And thank you very much.  And again, a tremendous honor to have you in the United States and in Mar-a-Lago.  Thank you very much.

According to CCTV, President Xi Jinping stated that “We have been talking for a long time.  Through our communication we’ve reached a lot of agreement.  More importantly we got to know each other better and have built a trust friendship… And a working partnership between us.”

“we will work toward promoting this friendly relationship, which will benefit China, the US.  And their peoples.  We will also do our part in promoting peace and global stability.”

---------------------

According to White House, Immediate Release, According White House,  Secretary Tillerson stated that President was very happy to host President Xi at Mar-a-Lago these last two days.  a perfect weather day, and it was a great opportunity for both the Presidents and their wives to really get to know one another and enjoy, share meals together, and work on important issues.

The two leaders was positive and good about the results of this summit in terms of what it did for setting a very constructive tone going forward.

The two leaders had positive, productive meetings.  President Trump and President Xi agreed to work in concert to expand areas of cooperation while managing differences based on mutual respect.

The two Presidents reviewed the current state of the bilateral relationship and noted the importance of working together to generate positive outcomes that would benefit the citizens of both of our countries.

President Trump noted the challenges caused by Chinese government intervention in its economy and raised serious concerns about the impact of China’s industrial, agricultural, technology, and cyber policies on U.S. jobs and exports.  The President underscored the need for China to take concrete steps to level the playing field for American workers, stressing repeatedly the need for reciprocal market access.

The two sides noted the urgency of the threat of North Korea’s weapons program, reaffirmed their commitment to a denuclearized Korean Peninsula, and committed to fully implement U.N. Security Council resolutions.  They agreed to increase cooperation and work with the international community to convince the DPRK to peacefully resolve the issue and abandon its illicit weapons programs.

The two sides had candid discussions on regional and maritime security.  President Trump noted the importance of adherence to international norms in the East and South China Seas and to previous statements on non-militarization.

He also noted the importance of protecting human rights and other values deeply held by Americans.

The two Presidents agreed to elevate existing bilateral talks to reflect the importance of making progress on issues.  They established a new high-level framework for negotiations.

The U.S.-China Comprehensive Dialogue will be overseen by the two Presidents, and it will have four pillars:  the diplomatic and security dialogue; the comprehensive economic dialogue; the law enforcement and cyber security dialogue; and the social and cultures issues dialogue.

The two sides agreed to undertake an ambitious agenda and schedule to show progress and achieve meaningful results.

President Trump welcomed President Xi’s invitation to visit China for a state visit at a future date.  They agreed to work together in the interim to ensure successful and results-focused visits.

SECRETARY ROSS:  100-day plan:  Normally, trade discussions, especially between China and US:

Q    Secretary of State Tillerson, can I ask you about North Korea?  Did the President say that he might use trade against China if they do not rein in North Korea?  And did you    get any specific commitments from China to do something about the North Korea problem?

SECRETARY TILLERSON:  The Presidents’ discussions -- President Trump and President Xi -- on North Korea were very wide-ranging, very comprehensive, and more focused entirely on both countries’ previous commitments to denuclearize the peninsula.  There was no kind of a package arrangement discussed to resolve this.

President Xi, from their part, shared the view that this has reached a very serious stage in terms of the advancement of North Korea’s nuclear capabilities.  They discussed the challenges that introduces for both countries, but there’s a real commitment that we work together to see if this cannot be resolved in a peaceful way.  But in order for that to happen, North Korea’s posture has to change before there’s any basis for dialogue or discussions.

President Trump indicated to President Xi that he welcomed any ideas that President Xi and China might have as to other actions we could take and that we would be happy to work with them, but we understand it creates unique problems for them and challenges and that we would, and are, prepared to chart our own course if this is something China is just unable to coordinate with us.  See more detail visit to White House site .

President Trump Holds Welcome Dinner Reception
for  President Xi Jinping of China at Mar-a-Lago
April 6 2017

WELCOME: President Trump and Melania Welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping To Mar-A-Lago

The Boeing 747-400 Presidential Airplane landed and China's President, Xi Jinping,  arrived at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. Secretary of State Rex Tillamook and his wife greeted President Xi Jinping and his first lady, Mrs. Jinping at the airport.  President Trump, and his first lady Mrs. Trump  arrived in Florida with Presidential  Airplane, Airforce one and  welcomed and hosted President Xi Jinping and his first lady,  in their first face-to-face encounter, meeting on April 6th, 2017 at the Mar-a-Lago Club and had  warm welcome reception and dinner.

According to White House: Immediate Release: Dated April 4th, 2017

President will be meeting with President Xi Jinping of China, at Mar-a-Lago

On the 6th, in the afternoon and evening, and continuing into the 7th until after lunch.  So it will be about a 24-hour visit.   The two super power leaders to exchange views on each other’s respective priorities and to chart a way forward for the U.S.-China bilateral relationship to benefit for both countries. Especially for the Trade and Investment for both countries.

United States and China represent 40 percent of the global economy, and as the world’s two largest economies, there’s no greater or more consequential economic relationship.  The economies have become increasingly interdependent through growing trade and investment.

Expecting economic relationship should be mutually beneficial with bilateral trade and investment.  Hoping to have, a retreat in China’s move toward giving the market a more decisive role in the Chinese economy.

For North Korea:   The world and U.S.A is expecting to have fully support from Chinese President Xi Jinping which will be the most sensitive and important matter since it has not been resolved the cases and serious situation of the nuclear warhead issues for over 20 years of constructive negotiations including the human rights issues which is expect to continue to be brought up in the relationship.

Meanwhile, Nuclear warhead will be preventing with THAAD.   The United States will always act to defend our allies and to defend our homeland against any threat, and particularly one of the nature of the North Korean regime with the kinds of terrible weapons that they’re developing.  There will be no move away from protecting our South Korean allies and even neighboring country Japan as well and the United States.

North Korea clearly is a matter of urgent interest for the President and the administration as a whole.   There was clear messaging how important it is for China to coordinate with the United States and for China to begin exerting its considerable economic leverage to bring about a peaceful resolution to that problem.

Expecting partnership to implement those U.N. resolutions And coal is one very important area, given the volume of trade and what that means in terms of hard currency for the North Korean regime, and certainly have to implementing resolutions whatever it takes the methods to monitor compliance.

Somewhere on the order of just shy of 90 percent of North Korea’s external trade is with China, so even though we hear sometimes that China’s political influence may have diminished with North Korea, The world and U.S is expecting to have economic leverage from China for North Korea issues which is considerable.

On April 4th, 2017 two days before China President Xi Jinping arriving to Florida, U.S.A:

Arirang News, CNN, Youtupe Menia, Fox News, Star News, MBC reports:  North Korea fired a ballistic missile into the East Sea at 6:42 a.m., South Korea time, slightly over three hours ago from an area near Sinpo in South Hamgyong Province.  Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff said the missile flew around 60 kilometers.  Seoul, Korea and Washington, USA are currently analyzing the launch.

It is the mid-range ballistic missile and it seems to be a KN-15 or, as it's also known, the Pukguksong-2.  South Korea's presidential office has already convened an emergency National Security Council meeting to address the provocation.  Acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn has ordered South Korean troops to strengthen their combat readiness in the wake of the launch.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has released a short statement on the provocation, saying the U.S. has spoken enough about North Korea and has no further comment.
