As
of January 28, 2005,
The Boeing Company has announced 7E7
to use Numeric Number, 787.
Per Boeing News Release, Alan Mulally, president and CEO of
Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said that "We used 7E7 to highlight
the airplane's dramatic efficiency advantages," "All those
advantages and more continue with this official model designation
for the airplane ." (8)

Even more seats
available:
787-10, will seat 290 - 310 passengers
(Ref. search)
(Recent search: Boeing’s head of the 787 project, Mike Bair,
said the 787-10 stretch version would be about 50 seats bigger
than 787-9 in a three-class configuration and was expected
to have a range of roughly 7500nm (13,890km). The new plane,
expected to fly in 2012, will have cheaper seat-mile costs
than the much bigger A380 and Boeing believes it will beat
the A350 by 10 per cent. )
In
three-class configuration
787-9,
will seat 250

In Three-class
cabin configuration:
787-8, will seat 210 - 250 passengers
In Two-class configuration
787-3,
290
- 330 passengers
The next major milestone for the 787 will be in 2007
when the first 787 enters production. Flight test will occur
the same year, with certification, delivery and entry into
service in 2008.
There are four different 787 Dreamliners:
Boeing 787-3, 787-8 Dreamliner,
787-9 Dreamliner, and 787-10.
787 will
bring the economics of large jet transports to the middle
of the market, using 20 percent less fuel than any other airplane
of its size.

The
787 decreased operating costs because of its more fuel efficient
performance, increased revenue potential from cargo capability
is drawing customer interest .
According
to PI.com, dated Jan. 20. 2005, Boeing ultimately decided
against building a direct competitor to the A380, concluding
that the market is moving away from
jumbo jets that fly between hub airports. It is developing
a fuel-efficient, midsize plane, the 787
Dreamliner, to connect cities that do not generate
the traffic to justify a 500-seat aircraft.
Well, I would love to be in a big ship like a great cruise ship and take leisure time and
more the merrier and have a good time and do not
have to worry about marketing like speed of light century
is not the issue. How about security issues
like so many terrorist looking for the opportunities for different
spaces and more people all in one packages. If that is not
the issues like security issues, and like Titanic
good olden days……then maybe Airbus A380 is ok to fly with
takeoff weight when fully loaded of
1.2 million pounds for me (Can you imagine fuel
cost? Can You imagine in the
case of accident happen which I hope not: the mass(
1.2 million pounds) scatters from the sky. Who knows......the
cost will be more than what you put in and it will cause The
Environmental issue, repair cost,
and unknown complications in
the sky will be the Biggest
Concerns.......Hmmmmm,
something reminds of me about story of the construction of
Babel.......Heavens,
It is not going to be easy like neither the sea nor the land
transportation's. ) but,
I would much rather rely on Super Fuel
efficiency, Lower Community Sound, Cleanest Engine, Safe,
Healthy, Light for the Environmental, and faster
service point to point
services with the world best
787
Dreamliner which
is very light fly due to it is made almost
entirely of carbon-fiber
composites for 787 Dreamliner. 787 Dreamliner will
take you wherever you want to be and when you want
to be with The
Best Environmental Leadership.
More pleasing and natural and can be changed to provide
different "moods" with pull
down shades, it can be darkened electronically
and has light-emitting

. 787
TECHNOLOGY
makes a
lot of sense.
It is my expression that
787 TECHNOLOGY
continues towards as if THE
LIGHT OF SPEED (Fastest),
787 design makes more robust
and good marketing. The Best Airplane
for the World and The Best Airplane for the Environment. That's
what I want to say from beautiful
and paradise country
where I live in Washington, USA.
It is positive to see that Boeing's 787 Dreamliner
is being developed New fuel-efficient engines and more lightweight
composites with great cargo spaces.
Boeing's 787 Dreamliner will be the industry's first
jetliner with a nearly all-composite airframe and latest high
technology.
