Joint
recital for the Enhancement of Korean-American Friendship was
given at Olympia, Washington in February, 7, 2006.
Opening
remark and Welcoming was given by Senator Paull H. Shin Ph. D.
About 560 people attended include Korean American Business and
Community Leaders.
It was sensational and incredible Cello music and a great solo
that remains in our heart and the recital was moved and the audience
were raved. The audience participated sing along time with a Korean
Folk Song Arirang and a Christian song "Near To Thee". The recital
was wonderful moment and it added more special touch at Olympia:
the capital city of Washington. The Cello music by Youngun Kim
and and Solo by Hyesun Kim; carried great tune of music throughout
the ceiling and carried beautiful echo around the hall. It was
unforgettable moment. The beautiful recital program carried as

Special Gust Speaker by Hyunuk(Bosco) Kim, Ph. D. His remarks
was emotional and serious and concerned about South Korea's situation.
On the other hand, he wants to see that continue to have a great
relationship and emphasized that closer relationship with U.S.A
is very necessaries and it is very critical. Kim Hyunuk, Ph.D.
is currently President, The Int. Peace Forum for Unification,
Foreign Policy and National Security, President, Korea Society
of Nuclear Geopolitical Studies, Former Chairman, committee on
Unification, Foreign Affairs and Trade, National Assembly, Hon.
Prof. yanbian University of Science and Technology, China, Visiting
Prof, Shinsung College, Korea, President, National Committee for
Reconciliation, National Lay Catholic Association Korea, and President,
Catholic Prayer vigil for North korean Human Rights and Democracy.
He is a former senator 4 times in South Korea. It is positive
to see that he is continue to seeking to have closer relationship
with the United States of America and South Korea. It is many
people's concern that many young people in South Korean do not
seem understand about 6.25 1953, war and North Korea's current
Nuclear situation.....
It is reminded that the freedom did not come with free:
it cost heroes' sacrifies, their familes and fight for the country.
In the mean time, special thanks to Senator Paul Shin, Korean
American Christian Newspaper Johng H. Kim, Committee Chair: Jong
Jong Lee for making this event happen. Also Specai Thanks to the
Governor and Officials for the great facility, Washington State
Capital Rotunda. It is a beautiful place and everyone enjoyed.
