Last January 14, 2012, Elder Lee Sang Jin retired from Korean American presbyterian Church of Tacoma. Right after his retirement, Ministers and elders gathered had Inauguration ceremony for new Gospel Broadcasting Company, Seattle, Washington State. Elder Lee Sang Jin will be in charge of the Seattle Gospel Broadcasting Company. Elder Lee Sang Jin have served 32 years of Elder for the presbyterian church and served many years of community services like Community Relations Committee in Immigrations Naturalization Services, Tacoma-Pierce County Municipal League board of Trustees, The Pierce County Minority Advisory council, Tacoma City Human Right Commission, Commissioner (1982-1987), Language Bank Volunteer, American red Cross, Seattle Chapter, Pierce County Library System, Community Planning Team (2001-2002), Delegator of Korean-Language Presbytery Task Forces for Synod of the /Alaska/Northwest (1997-2000), Commission, Synod of NW Alaska (2001-2003), ALF (American Leader Forum) Tacoma/Pierce Chapter ClassX. Elder Lee served U.S Army for 3 years (1975-1978) Honorable Discharge. He has a master's degree Kye Myung University and Master's Degree for Pacific Theological Seminary, Auburn, Wa. He also completed Faith Evengelical Lutheran Seminary, Tacoma. He completed Mid West Theological Seminary. St. Louise, MO. He received Honorary Doctor of Divinity in Indonesia in 2009.
