IT
IS BETTER TO START FOCUSING THE ECONOMIC ISSUES -
RE: MCCAIN STATEMENT ON US AIR FORCE
ACCOUNTABILITY
REGARDING THE BOEING 767 TANKER LEASE DEAL
According
to MCCAIN
STATEMENT
his own word in his statement, Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, he mentioned
that "A Wall Street Journal editorial, entitled "John McCain's Flying
Circus," published on the very same day as my tanker hearing in
the Commerce Committee, is particularly notable. It was obviously
drafted with considerable help from the Office of Air Force Secretary.
In it, tanker proponents accused me of
"trying to prevent approval by running
up my own Jolly Roger" and brazenly exaggerated the Air
Force's need for tankers by describing how, during Secretary Roche's
visit to Tinker Air Force Base, he "peeled back the skin of a tanker
being refurbished and found the metal underneath disintegrating
before his very eyes." He stated that was on throughout 2002 and
the beginning of 2003.(5)
We
need to move on the case of economic issues to recover instead of
arguing over unnecessary issues which will put our tax payers "grumble
issue".
We
the U.S.A citizens understand that we learn by the mistake and grow.
Continuos pounding the wrong doing is not make improving the country
(U.S.A). When you keep digging dirts, what do you see on the end?
It seems digging the warms to eat for himself from the ground. We
need to see the bright side and move on.....As Human, we are doing
better as forgiving and give opportunities. None of us
are perfact. That is how God created all of us. We the citizens
understand there was some mistaken but we know The Boeing Company
will do better by learning from the mistaken. We the citizens are
already know The Boeing Company's board of directors fired
Ms. Druyun and former Chief Financial Officer Michael Sears for
misconduct arising from the tanker negotiations. Boeing's Chief
Executive Officer Phil Condit soon resigned the company which I
thought it is not necessary to resign over for this. However, he
sacrificed. These actions already showed enough that Boeing cares
about the company's Ethic conduct and took care of this matter very
professionally. After all, we all work together for the United States
America better.
Per
Senator Patty Murray, Washington State's economy
has suffered disproportionately in the economic downturn, and Boeing
and its workers have been especially hard-hit in the aftermath of
September 11th. (1)
We
the citizens understand that President George Bush is well aware of this
issue and this will support USA economic recover a great deal. (2)
When President signs this, this lease will
be able to manage the major impact of the resources what they need which
makes sense.
According
to IMMEDIATE RELEASE (2003-14) May 23,2003 Washington, D.C. - Office of
Management and Budget Director Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. released the following
statement today in reaction to the announcement regarding the Boeing Tanker
Lease: "From where this began, taxpayers will save
at least $2 billion; so it was well worth our time and effort. This also
begins the important process of recapitalizing the tanker fleet, which
is a priority for the Administration." (4)
Per
WASHINGTON, D.C, September 22, 2003, The Pentagon reiterated the
benefits to leasing 100 Boeing KC-767 tankers and answered critical questions
regarding the lease proposal. The Department of Defense also committed
to buying 26 planes, saving $1.2 billion, should the lease proposal be
approved.
It
is already year 2004 since all of us made hopes of this economic packages
go through from year 2001: We can not see flip
flop the deal what is already made deal. It is very critical matter to
finish this deal and we the citizens are very tire of seeing this matter
take too long. We want to see economic to recover soon. There are many
organizations, many industries, suppliers are involved who have been relied
and planned and had to lay off so many people with cause of what they
have projected and for the future needs besides
the Boeing Company…….We understand many systems have to go
through what the processes are…..However, there are urgencies that you
can take care of what are the priorities……..Pretty
soon it will be the year 2005………
The
U.S. Air Force has critical needs we cannot afford to ignore. The Air
Force has made clear we cannot risk systemic failures by not moving ahead
with new Boeing tankers." (3)
This
deal should affect the Washington, Kansas, California, Texas, Michigan,
Florida, and Arizona state.
(3)
To
conclude: We
need to see the bright side and move on. It
is Washington State citizens request that we want this economic packages
to pass AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after SO MANY YEARS OF congressional hearings
and reviews INTERNAL OR OUTSIDE OF the Pentagon, the future of the next
generation of Air Force tankers and the Everett-based
767 assembly line CAN START SOON AND WORKERS TO GOING BACK TO WORK AND
USA ECONOMIC REMAINS STABLE…..BEFORE THE YEAR ENDS 2004.
We
hope all of Senators and Representatives push for this case as soon as
possible without any interrupting and pass to make economic grow.
It
is positive to see that we are in good
hands and keeping our country safe especially the HOMELAND SECURITY, also
something to look for ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND WORKERS
GO BACK TO WORK WHERE THEY CAN HAVE STABLE JOBS
when this economic packages pass SOON..........
When President signs this, this lease will
be able to manage the major impact of the resources what they need which
will make so much differences to our communities and many States and United
States of America better........
