Per
Seattle PI.com Dated, Feb. 16, 2005; Boeing Executive, President:
Harry
Stonecipher said
that "We are fully prepared to charge up that hill in any direction
they want to go," for future of the 767 tanker deal with the Air
Force. "We have a full line of products we're able to offer them."
But with the company's 767 production line in Everett nearing an
end, Boeing doesn't have another airplane platform that fits previous
Air Force requirements for a tanker. In
the meantime, per recent conference callBoeing
C.E.O., Stonecipher addressed that "As
soon as someone decides what the requirements are, then we will
have an airplane there,".(12)
That's
something Bush Administration has to think seriously in the case
of Boeing Co. and the Air Force as the next episode of the tanker
drama is set to play out.
Hope
that Senators and Officials continue to support on this issue for
Washington Economic sake, and for U.S.A.and,
etc.....
We
need to stop furious attack for the company who try to make it better
and tries recuperating from the 9.11 incident.
When you push your fist to your own fence what would happen? Well,
you are destroying your own house and
your own family. We the citizen already understand what has
been gone through and took care of that matter for 767 Tanker deal.
It reminds of us, about President George Bush's
remarks from The State of The Union (2005) "To make our economy
stronger and more competitive, America must reward, not punish,
the efforts and dreams of entrepreneurs." (7) Of course,
this makes sense for The Boeing Company, too. Also for many other
industries who affected by this deal............
Per
Seattle Times, dated Sunday, December 26, 2004, since 2001,
when he spotted a $26 billion contract for leasing tankers in a
footnote in the federal budget, McCain and his two aides have outmaneuvered
Air Force brass and Boeing's 35-person Washington lobbying operation
in a classic Washington power play and a media blitz worthy of Madison
Avenue.(8)
It
sure makes sense what President George Bush says "Keeping
America on Track for a More Prosperous Future The last three years
have revealed the fundamental strengths of America's economy. Despite
the unprecedented economic shocks of recession, the September 11
attacks, corporate scandals, and war, America's economy is on track
for recovery and sustained job creation." (7)
When President signs this, this lease will
be able to manage the major impact of the resources what they need.
Also The
Boeing Company already has lost enough like
the tanker program came to $275 million, the amount of money
the company has spent on its Air Force
bid. We can not
take another chance and be blind like EU subsidies FOR
UNFAIR GLOBAL MARKETING FOR A LONG TIME .......and U.S. economic
hurts......
Despite
the unprecedented economic shocks of recession, the September 11
attacks, The
Boeing Company needs Economic healing support along with U.S.A.
Economic recover......Also, Airbus
has been dominated too long with unfair global marketing
for the Boeing Company(6)
and many other industries in U.S.A...etc...
Per
Seattle Weekly, dated December 1-7, 2004, Senator, McCain recently
released the latest array of embarrassing, if not incriminating,
tanker e-mail.(5) Something about Senator McCain still is not satisfied
with either Boeing or the Air Force and even
so, He Begins 2008 with
Straight Talk. It is our hope for the best.(9)Sen. Maria Cantwell, a Democrat, She was trying to assist Boeing
in every way (8) --We understand this is primarily a federal issue.
Many of us would think that
Honorable senetors, Honorable Rumsfeld, Honorable
President, and The Nation would have
better decisions than what Senator McCain would .... We The Taxpayers:
The Voters: The Citizens understand that Bush Administration is
always looking after the Nation and Economic
to Grow......We hope single powerful
man, Senator McCain would look for the future bright side.
Please listen to your citizens and look after the positive out put.
Please change your gear and turn straight around and
look into bright side, be a positive, you are going to see the peaceful
dove flying around.......It is very clear that all of our
nation and the world is familiar with Senator McCanin's......I am
sure It is part of thought process......Here
is another famous line from President George Bush's remarks for
The State of The Union, 2005: "Justice is distorted,
and our economy is held back
by irresponsible class-actions and frivolous asbestos claims --
and I urge Congress to pass legal reforms this year." (7).
It
is the fact that Washington State's economy has suffered enough
in the economic downturn, and Boeing and its workers have been especially
hard-hit in the aftermath of September 11th.
If
the President signs the measure, this lease will provide a tremendous
boost to the workers and the economy in the
Puget Sound and will provide our fighting forces with the
resources they need. Many senators supported
this issue like Sen. Inouye (D-Hi.) and Sen. Stevens (R-Ak.),
and who were instrumental Senator Cantwell (D-Wa), on behalf of
Boeing. (1)
We
the citizens understand that President George Bush is well aware of this
issue and this will support USA economic recover a great deal. (2)
According
to IMMEDIATE RELEASE (2003-14) May 23,2003 Washington, D.C. - Office of
Management and Budget Director Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. released the following
statement today in reaction to the announcement regarding the Boeing Tanker
Lease: "From where this began, taxpayers will save
at least $2 billion; so it was well worth our time and effort. This also
begins the important process of recapitalizing the tanker fleet, which
is a priority for the Administration." (4)
Per
WASHINGTON, D.C, September 22, 2003, The Pentagon reiterated the
benefits to leasing 100 Boeing KC-767 tankers and answered critical questions
regarding the lease proposal. The Department of Defense also committed
to buying 26 planes, saving $1.2 billion, should the lease proposal be
approved.
It
is already New year 2005 since all of us made hopes of this economic packages
go through from year 2001: We can not see flip
flop the deal what is already made deal. It is very critical matter to
finish this deal and we the citizens are very tire of seeing this matter
take too long. We want to see economic to recover soon. There are many
organizations, many industries, suppliers are involved who have been relied
and planned and had to lay off so many people with cause of what they
have projected and for the future needs besides
the Boeing Company……We understand many systems have to go through
what the processes are…..However, there are urgencies that you can take
care of what are the priorities…….
The
U.S. Air Force has critical needs we cannot afford to ignore. The Air
Force has made clear we cannot risk systemic failures by not moving ahead
with new Boeing tankers." (3)
This
deal should affect the Washington, Kansas, California, Texas, Michigan,
Florida, and Arizona state.
In addition to creating jobs in the U.S., the lease proposal provides
important protections to ensure that the taxpayer is getting a good deal
which
brings Taxpayer Protections: Referenced
by September 22, 2003: Cantwell Says Details of Letter Shed Light on Value
and Urgency of Tanker Lease (3)
Can
you imagine that airport runway has to match the requirement and trying
to transport the equipments and requiring so many other requirments
by Airbus?(i.e., Airbus requires a site to
have a 9,000-foot airport runway, room for a 1.5 million-square-foot building
and reliable transportation, including access to a deep-water port for
moving huge pieces of equipment.)(10).
For
U.S.A Economic sake, Hope and pray that Bush Administion does not delay
too long for 767 tanker deal for Boeing. Per
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Boeing Co. (BA) has about six months of leeway
before it makes a decision on whether to end its 767 airplane line, Boeing
executive Randy Baseler said Wednesday. :Airlines
are pushing Boeing to make its decision soon, Baseler
said. The upgrade wouldn't be ready until 2009, but airlines want to decide
sooner whether to buy a new Boeing plane or invest in the competition.
(11)
To
conclude, it is Washington State citizens
request that we want this economic packages to pass AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
after SO MANY YEARS OF congressional hearings and reviews INTERNAL OR
OUTSIDE OF the Pentagon, the future of the next generation of Air Force
tankers and the Everett-based 767 assembly line
CAN START SOON AND WORKERS TO GOING BACK TO WORK AND USA ECONOMIC REMAINS
STABLE…..
In the mean time, we appreciate the Washington Senators and Representatives
especially, Sen. Patty Murray, Sen. Maria Cantwell, Rep. Norm Dicks, other
officials who try to make this packages possible. Also We appreciate President
George Bush who trys to make this effort possible to pass the economic
packages as soon as possible.
Hope that Senators and Officials continue to support on this issue for
Washington Economic sake and for U.S.A.
It
is positive to see something to look
for ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND WORKERS GO BACK TO WORK
WHERE THEY CAN HAVE STABLE JOBS
when this economic packages pass SOON..........as
what President Bush described the state of our Union as confident and
strong and urged all Americans to move forward and complete the important
work ahead.(7) ......And
like what Senator McCains says the public
should not "get sucked into" the foreign-ownership argument. "I obviously
hope that [the winner] would be a U.S. corporation.
(8)Althought Senator McCain considers for fair chance for any other company,
We hope Senator McCain understand that we have
the greatest company in our nation that would make a lot of sense to choose
Boeing Company.
YES, IT IS MAKING a
lot of sense to choose Boeing's cutting-edge Technology. Washington
State, The Puget Sound is one of the most beautiful parts of the USA,
with beautiful mountains, ocean, and islands all nearby Especially, The
Everett city. Everett, Washington is unique place and surrounded with
many cultural attraction and global opportunities. It is something to
look for from Bush Administration and Hope
and pray that Senator McCain's thoughts for
our country andour nation's great
Company:Boeing.
