He mentioned that we can not forget the Korean War regardless what the situation. "The South Korea could not be there without the Korean war veterans men and women who stood up and fought for us from the nation include Korea, United States of America and many other countries" said Consul Kim. From 1950 to 1953, the United States joined with United Nations forces in Korea to take a stand against what was deemed a threat to democratic nations worldwide. At war's end, a million and a half American veterans returned to a peacetime world of families, homes, and jobs - and to a country long reluctant to view the Korean War as something to memorialize. But to the men and women who served, the Korean War could never be a forgotten war.

On the other side, after so many years of proceeding with North Korea to dismantling the nuclear weapons program, President George Bush offered to be rewarded with the trade saction lifted when the North Korea doing the action to destroy the nuclear weapon place in North Korea. In June 26th, 2008, finally, The president spoke hours after North Korea submitted its long-awaited declaration detailing its nuclear weapons activities. The government said that it would blow up the cooling tower at its nuclear facility on television and turned over documents to China about its plutonium core and waste activities. According to the Fox News dated, June 26th, 2008,President George Bush said from the White House Rose Garden that "Today is a positive day and it's a positive step forward," "My point is this: we'll see. They said they are going to destroy parts of their plant in Pyongyang. That's a very positive step." But Bush added, "We will trust you only to the extent that you fulfill your promises. I'm pleased with the progress there are no illusions this is the first step."

North Korea's Nuclear Weapons Program has been the most world concerns and the worst to think of the global environmental issues for so many years. At last President George Bush has communicated with the North Korea and something to look forward to accomplish the actions from the North Korea.
