6.25 Korean Veterans Association Year End Ceremony
6.25 Korean Veterans Association was given Year End and Farewell Party
at the Kum Ran Church in Federal Way, WA for former 6.25 KVA president,
Mr. Yoon Young Ho. He Served 4 years and he moved to Oregon State in
order to stay closer with his family. He will continue to serve for
the communities for 6.25 Korean Veterans Association in Oregon State.
Mr. Yoon expressed that his sincere appreciation to the Korean Women's
Association (KWA) for their endless support for 6.25 Korean Veterans
Association during his 4 years service for the communities. His testimony
of 6.25 war in 1950 to 1953 was emotional and he made remark about General
MacArthur Douglas MacArthur (January 26, 1880 – April 5, 1964) activated
ordered to land at Incheon and successful. Mr. Yoon also mentioned that
without the United States of America General MacArthur, The South Korea
would not be here like today. Mr.Yoon Young Ho mentioned that he was
proud to serve in military during his service and still proud of himself
as a one of many solders who fought for his country. Retired Korean
Major General Nam Pyo mentioned that "Since the Korean War cease-fire,
we may have forgotten much of the foundation of the alliance between
Korea and America. He hopes that Do not forget their selfless, they
fought for the peace
and to save the South Korea"

Consul Kim Young Ho spoke for ROK Consul General Kwon Chan Ho due to
his attending meeting in Alaska. Consul General Kwon Chan Ho supports
4 states: Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska states. Consul Kim
Young Ho appreciated the former president Mr. Yoon Young Ho for his
4 years of community services for 6.25 Korean Veterans Association.
He also addressed that we the young generation in Korea appreciates
6.25 Korean Veterans who fought for South Korea, include U.S troups
and many others without your selfless, your brave and sacrifies there
is no South Korea like today. ROK Consul Kim Young Ho expressed sincere
appreciation. KWA president, Yon Chong Eigelbach also appreciated to
them and encouraged to the 6.25 Korean Veterans Association to keep
up their spirit and uplifting for the positive communities.
The
former 6.25 KVA president, Mr. Yoon Young Ho introduced a new President
Kwon Young Bae. Mr. Kwon said that he will work hard to serve better
and creating the opportunities to support the community and requested
to the community leaders to continue their support.
Speaking of 6.25 Korean War Vertrans, last October 9, 2006, North Korea
proclaimed to the world that it had conducted a nuclear test. It is
a threat to international peace and security and alarmed to the South
Korea, Japan and around the world. It has been issues and concerns throughout
the world. Last October 9, 2006, President Bush announced that the President
Bush will not tolerate The Threat To International Peace and Security:
"North Korea Nuclear Test". It is an 'Unacceptable' Threat. The United
States and UN Security Council Members Condemned This Provocative Act.
