It is positive to see that Washington State and China has a great relationship and Gary Locke was elected Washington's 21st governor on Nov. 5, 1996, making him the first Chinese-American Governor in U.S. history. On Nov. 7, 2000, Locke, was reelected to his second term. Chinese President Hu will enjoy visiting Washington State, it will be his memoriable visit to friendly and a wonderful Washington State.
