KAC (Korean American Coalition) of Washington opened2007 KAC-WA Candidates
Forum in October 22nd, 2007 on Monday at 6:30 Pm to 8:30 PM sponsored
by KWA (Korean Women's Association of Washington) at
Korean women's Association Bldg, 123 E. 96th St., Tacoma, Washington.
Started with the welcome remarks by Lee Chung Joo, Korean Association
of Tacoma President and continued forum.
2007 KAC-WA Candidates Forum was given with the following attendees:

City of Tacoma Council District 1: Harold G. Moss
City of Tacoma Council District 3: Lauren Walker
City of Tacoma Council District 3: Ronnie Allen Warren

Tacoma City Council Candidates and Port of Tacoma Commissioner Candidates.
Meanwhile, School Board candidates from Federal Way were invited to
"meet and greet" : Everlyn Castellar (Position no 3, Ron Walker Position
no 5, Len Englund, position no. 2 voters in the Korean community at
the Korean Women's Association facility in Tacoma. About 150 people
attended for this event include Many community leaders attended this
event include, Republic of Korea Consul General, Kwon Chan Ho, City
of Federal Way, Mayor, Michael Park, Korean American Association of
President, Lee Jong Joo, Korean Womens Realty President, Kay Kim, Korean
Chamber's Commerce Executive Board, Jong Jong Lee, Chang Mook Sohn,
Ph.D, and Korean Women's Association of Board Chair Chong Dameron, KWA
President, Sandra Englund, KAC President, Soloman Kim and Board chair,
Susan Lee and etc. It was successful and the audiance learned so much
and appreciated the candidates who participated for 2007 KAC-WA candidates
forum. They gained so much and understand better who to vote.
