The Choir Contest
NW Korean language school Choir Contest was given at the New Life Church
in Tacoma in May 12th at 2:00 PM. The Welcome remarks was given by the
Minister Oh Sae Young. The opening prayer was given by the Minister
Joen Kyo Min. Consul General Kwon Chan Ho congratulated to the students
and he was very proud of their enthusiasm and with their musical talents.
He encouraged to the students to continue their special activities and
keep up the talented skills.
The
National Association for Korean Schools Northwest Chapter
president, and The Minister Oh Sae Young presented the awards certificates
and atrophies to the winners. Tacoma
New
life Presbyterian church
(Song: The Frog) and the first Korean Language School of Tacoma (Song:
In the beauty of the love) received the Best prizes. The Best prize
winners will be invited to the ROK Consul General's Blue house place.
The Gold Prize was given to the Han Woo Ri Korean Language school (Song:
Wonderful Korea), The Silver Prize was given to Moo Gung Hwa Korean
Language school (Song: Look forward to Drawing the Art ). The bronze
prize was given to the Tacoma United Presbyterian church ( Go Daddy
!!).
The
concert was free admission and the contribution was optional for the
Virginia Tech fund. About 800 students attend this concert. 14 Korean
Language school participated the choir contest.
It was filled with joy, sprit, and the excitements.
