Consul General Kwon Chan Ho Farewell Ceremony

The Farewell reception hosted by Korean American Communities
in KAS community center in April 25th, 2008. KAS President, Lee Kang
Sul and KAT President, Lee Jong Joo presented appreciation award to
ROK Consul General Kwon Chan Ho signed by 36 organizations from 5 states.
Also
The Federation of Korean American Associations of Northwest States,
USA.President Sam K. Kwak presented Superior
Achievement Award to Consul General Kwon Chan Ho.
The Committee Chairs, Lee Kang Sul, and Captain Yee presented program
accordingly with the 5 states' KA community leaders,. City of council
member Michael Park, Asiana General Manager Seattle Office, You Jung
Park. Special Remark was given by Dr. Chang Mook Sohn who is running
for the State Treasurer.
Artist
Im Joo Hong (Paul) sang the special farewell song: "Longing for
Hometown" and "Farewell My Friend". Sandra Englund presented
photo slide during the dinner time.
Most of the community Leaders and representatives expressed that the
communities appreciate Consul General's dedication and passionate caring
for the communities. Since Consul General Kwon Chan Ho started, the
5 states became more strengthen and involved more community activities
together. Consul General, Kwon Chan Ho diligently communicated to 5
state leaders and participated most of the community events include
Korean War Veterans Memorial services in Port Angeles and Olympia with
different countries. He also dedicated to support many trade issues
besides War fighter F-15 for Boeing Company while his presence in Washington
State. He believes Washington state is the central spot for global corporations.
Consul General contributed His Philosophical Journals for the Communities
to all attendees and he signed for individual books.
Consul
General Kwon Chan Ho will remember great memories about the Washington
State and North West. He will be missed very much from the North West
paradise land Washington State. NW KA Communities appreciate his dedication
and hard work. His integrity and his legacy will remain in our spirit
, Washington State and North West.....
